Loret Mast work Volunteers and Interns
It's thanks to the involvement of a many talented and dedicated volunteers that Legion Arts has become one of the most respected arts presenters in the Midwest. Volunteers staff the box office at every performance, where they also serve as ushers, sound and light operators, concessionaires and production assistants. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the organization, including arts presenting, arts production, community arts, events management, facility upkeep and marketing. Whether you're looking to expand your circle of friends, increase your knowledge and participation in the arts, contribute to your community, or carry out a structured involvement for academic credit, we can find a place for you. Just show up at one of volunteer kickoff nights, held every September and January. (The next one takes place at CSPS Weds, Aug 29, 2007, beginning at 5:30 pm.) Or you can write us at 1103 Third St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401; call us at 319-364-1580; or e-mail info@legionarts.org.
